The Sisters Starry Nights concert series was born when massive budget cuts due to tax-limiting ballot measures threatened programs at schools across the state in 1996. Organized and staffed entirely by volunteers and co-chaired by Susan Arends, Jeri Fouts, and Novella Swisher, the series debuted in 1997 and has been the major source of funding for the Sisters Schools Foundation.

To date, Sisters Starry Nights has raised more than $1.5 million in net proceeds for our local public schools. Read more about the foundation’s mission and impact on our About Us page.

Sisters High School

Doors open at 5:30

The Sisters Starry Nights Benefit Concert Series returns in 2026 with an unforgettable performance by legendary artist Keb’ Mo’. Known for his Grammy-winning blend of blues, Americana, and soul, Keb’ Mo’ brings joy, heart, and an unmistakable sense of connection to every performance. We’re honored to welcome him back to the Sisters High School stage—for the third time—where he continues to donate his time and talent to support local public schools.

Listening to Keb’ Mo’ is truly a pleasure, particularly for one newly introduced to his music. His vocal range and timbre are simply silky and luxurious…he warms the hearts of his audience.
